Hoorn will once again be all about the fair from Saturday, August 9th to Monday, August 18th, 2025, for 10 days. For the 579th edition of this spectacle, around 70 attractions will come to the city center of Hoorn.
Wednesday, August 13th: Family Day and Womens Night
Family Day starting at 12:00 PM: free face painting at multiple locations.
Various TV/comic characters will take over the city center together.
For childrens attractions, the entrance fee between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM is €1.50, and for most large attractions, its €2.50.
In the evening, its special for the ladies: Womens Night!

Were going to light up the sky with the most beautiful fair fireworks in the Netherlands!
Friday evening starting at 10:00 PM at Westerdijk.
Disco swimming
Every Friday evening from 19:30 to 21:00, it's Discotime at the Enkhuizer Strand leisure pool. The pool will be transformed into a musical swimming paradise. Our DJ Julian plays fresh songs by your favourite artists and the flashing disco lights create a cool atmosphere. Your weekend always gets off to a good start with disco swimming!

Ditch Excursion
At the biological dairy farm Schapenstreek in Lutjebroek, were going to search for water life in the ditches of De Weelen with scoop nets!
The excursion is fun for all ages, including those staying on the campsite during the holidays. Scoop nets, ladles, and identification cards are available.
Wear clothing that can handle a bit of roughness, preferably boots and long pants. There might be ticks.

Monday, August 18th: Rag Market (Lappendag)
On this day, 250 market stalls and many street vendors will line Grote Noord, Kleine Noord, Noorderveemarkt, and part of Veemarkt. Bargain hunting starts at 6:00 AM in the shops and at the market stalls. The Rag Market closes at 3:00 PM.
In the morning, the pubs will open. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, no alcohol will be served.
