Enkhuizen Trotting Day

This festive day in Enkhuizen offers a varied program full of tradition and spectacle. Enjoy a parade of horses and authentic carriages through the charming city center, with a route along the Koepoort, Westerstraat, Breedstraat, Dijk, and Paktuinen. At the Paktuinen, you can admire clean riding and ring tilting, among other things, and later in the day, the exciting short track race takes place, with competitors battling for the grand prize of Enkhuizen. The day ends with spectacular fireworks at a beautiful location.

Following his debut album Standing At The Station in 2000, the albums True Blues [2004], Real [2006], and Move My Soul [2009] were purposeful yet introductory previews of what was to come in the years ahead. In 2012, Rolling Stone magazine voted the song Daddy's Old Gun from his album 20 Stones one of the best singles of 2012. The same album was voted one of the ten best albums of 2012 by Blues Rock Review.
