More than 400 years after its original performance, the youth of Jeutello present their own translation and adaptation of Shakespeares famous comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Directed by Laurien Vanbroekhoven, the play is given a modern twist, with themes of love, jealousy, and misunderstandings set in todays world. In an era of fake news and social media, the question arises: who can you trust?

Tuesday market
The Tuesday market in Mol is a vibrant weekly event held every Tuesday in the town center. Visitors can find a wide variety of products, ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to clothing and handmade goods. Its a popular spot for both locals and tourists to shop and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Remembrance Ceremony for Veterans
As tradition dictates, we will also honor our veterans from both World Wars this year. The ceremony starts at 10 AM in the church of Wezel, followed by a procession to the cemetery for a short service. Afterward, the municipality, the municipality of Balen, and the veterans association Wezel will host a small reception in the café/parish hall De Grot in Wezel.
Everyone is welcome! Entry is free.

Lecture: From Veldstraat in Mol to Lagerstrasse in Dachau From Nuremberg to Auschwitz, by Sis van Eeckhout
On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Sis van Eeckhout will give an insightful lecture about his work Boek der Kampen. In 2015, Sis added a special update to the original book by his father, Ludo Vaneck/Ludo van Eeckhout, which is widely regarded as the standard work on Nazi concentration camps.
The lecture covers topics such as the rise of Nazism, the sponsors of the Nazis, the wars progression, the persecution of resistance fighters and Jews, the horrors of the camps, and the tragic history of the Mol resistance fighters. Sis van Eeckhout is known for his honest and respectful approach, providing a detailed and emotional account of these dark chapters in history.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the August Vermeylenfonds, in collaboration with the Humanist Union Mol, is organizing an exciting day trip. We will depart at 8:30 AM from Mol for a guided tour of the poignant Breendonk concentration camp. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit the Museum aan de Stroom (MAS) in Antwerp at your leisure the perfect combination of history and culture!
