Children Circus Barani in Schoorl
The Zinnecker family presents National Circus Barani from the 31st of July until the 17th of August in Schoorl.
Circus as circus should be. This year again with a new show, the new one lasting no less than two hours. Packed with excitement, thrills, humour and spectacle. Including flying plates, an impressive LED act and crazy clowns. Of course, animal performances are not missing either. Among them are cats, goats and many more.
Tickets are available at the circus box office on site. Please note that PIN payments are NOT always possible = depending on the mobile network.
There are special family days on Fridays, when tickets can be booked at a discount.
Open from half an hour before each performance. Or in advance sales every performance day from 11:00 to 12:00.

At the cheese market, you will see how cheeses are traded according to age-old traditions. From setting and judging the cheeses to price negotiations and weighing them.
Around the market, there are many stalls selling Dutch delicacies like poffertjes, herring, stroopwafel. Of course, you will also find all kinds of cheeses in various sizes and flavours.
The cheese market is a free event that takes place every Friday until 26 September.

From 20 August to 22 August 2025 between 9:30 and 13:00, all primary school age children are welcome in Captain Rommel's Garden to walk the Beast Trail and discover all kinds of critters. Really see.... just touch it.....or even just feel it! There are demonstrations with stick insects, millipedes, giant snails and learn all about wasps. There is also a butterfly stall with a butterfly tank with eggs, caterpillars, pupae and butterflies. Or do the insect bingo or one of the many other games.
