Join wildlife and nature expert Jan Niebeek on an exciting wildlife scavenger hunt through the beautiful forests of the Northern Veluwe! During this walk, you'll discover the secrets of nature and might even spot red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, and wild boar.
What can you expect?
Jan Niebeek will tell you all about the wildlife that lives in the forests. You'll learn about their behavior, habitat, and how to spot them. There's a good chance you'll encounter wildlife during the walk! The hike lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is suitable for adults and children aged 6 and up. Dogs are not allowed.
Practical Information
The wildlife scavenger hunt will be cancelled in heavy rain, thunderstorms, or storms, or if there are too few participants. Please check this in advance.

Carnival parade Klarenbeek
One of Gelderland's largest parades will begin at 12:30 PM on Goorweg near Klarenbeek Station. This year, 1,200 participants will once again participate with floats and walking groups. Due to the closure of several access roads, please arrive early.
Around 1:00 PM, the parade will pass the intersection of Hoofdweg/Broekstraat/Kopermolenweg, arriving at Molenweg around 1:15 PM. The first participant will arrive at Plus Imanse at 1:30 PM. There, the parade will follow Hoofdweg back to the Krakershol residence in De Klaarbeek. Around 1:45 PM, the parade will cross the border from Voorster to the Apeldoorn part of Klarenbeek, continuing on to Krakershol. (Route and times subject to change.)
Due to the closure of several access roads, please arrive early. The party starts at 3:00 PM at Krakershol, with the awards ceremony at 5:30 PM.
Parking is available at the Protestant church on Woudweg, the multi-purpose hall on Bosweg, and along various access roads. Please note that parking is prohibited! Tip: Come by bike!
